"If it is only a dream, why is pain so real?" "A dream head struck against a dream wall causes dream pain. A dreamer is not cognizant of the hallucinatory fabric of a dream until he awakens. Similarly, man does not understand the delusory nature of the cosmic dream of creation until he awakens in God." Paramahansa Yogananda

"Hanuman and Jesus are the Same"
When I was young on the spiritual path I had the
delightful experiences of seeing Ram Dass speak
several times. I even had a funny experience
running into him at the hairdressers. I loved his book
Miracle of Love, about his experiences and learnings
with his guru Baba Neem Karoli. This morning I was
perusing blogs and I happened upon this video of
Krishna Das speaking about Baba Neem Karoli
advising a devotee to 'meditate like Jesus'.
There has been a magic, of course, to this blog.
Finding this video was perfect to what I wanted to
address. Last night I was thinking about my post
yesterday. When Jesus gets mentioned, Christians
think of course you are a Christian and non-
Christians often get nervous thinking the same
thing. Jesus was an enlightened being, a great
master. I have spent much time studying his
teachings. I am not a religious person in the sense
of being involved in organized religion, yet my
life is completely devoted to my spirituality.
Understanding the teachings of Jesus is an eternal
journey into a vast pool of Love and Light. There
are many paths, many masters, to the same place.

I spent 12 years in Catholic school and yes, Jesus gets a bad rap. I've spent years shutting down whenever his name is mentioned, but in recently rediscovering him as an enlightened being I find I can look at him in a whole new light. I'm glad you liked the video, thank you for linking to me.
You have a fantastic blog, and great taste in music!

Thank you for pointing this out. I had no idea. I went looking on You Tube and had no luck.
I found this video. There is another one that is longer which you can search. It is Kridhna Das doing a Kirtan and telling the same story.
