Prosperity Session 20

Yesterdays session was different, as I was different with it. I started off
doing a little bit of affirming the qualities of the Divine and then I listened
to the stillness and then when someone's name came to me in the group
I did energy work with them always preceded with the affirmation that
they were awakening to the truth of their Divine prosperity. Then as the
energy did what ever it did I listened to the stillness. It was really awesome
in the peace and spaciousness that took over me.

Since starting these sessions I have been thinking about giving. I
am really enjoying giving to people for free and notice how much
our lives are about getting. I have been just as guilty as anyone.
I am not talking necessarily about presents but rather presence,
I am talking about considering others and what they need from us.
I can't remember the parable, but it goes something like this, a man
dies and goes to a place where no one's elbows bend. He asks has he
gone to hell, how was he going to feed himself? The reply was look
around you. He saw that in fact people were feeding each other...then
he was told he was, in fact, in heaven. In so many ways we have forgotten
that it is not just about ourselves, we are here to relate and love and
give to one another also. This is one of the secrets to prosperity, giving.
What ever it is we want give it. We want to eat, feed some one, then
we leave hell, and enter heaven.

Now, I am not talking about rescuing either, for that can be very
dis-empowering and build resentment. It is a fine dance of giving from
an empowering place. Check in with yourself, you will know the difference.
Giving is energizing rescuing is climbing into someone's hole with them.
It does not help you or the other person.

The group now has 23 people and the new intention that has
been brought in is "Our valley sparkles with prosperity!"

I have been asked two questions a few times about the prosperity
sessions: What am I doing and how can someone participate
if they want to meditate with me? What I do changes all the time.
I start off lighting candles on an altar I am creating for the sessions
and the healing work I do. This is in front of a painting I did of the
Virgin Guadelupe (see above). For me she is Mary, the Divine
Feminine and I like to evoke the quality of Love from her. As you
can see from my writings I have a very eclectic mix in the makings
of my spiritual practice so when I say that I call on Jesus to help us
please let go of any organized religious stigmas you may want to put
on this. I call on him is as a bridge, as an awakened and enlightened
being, knowing the Truth of what Divinity is, and I ask him to stand
in my stead for the group. I ask that the group be awakened to the
truth of their Divine Prosperity. I then do the Golden Key. At this
stage I ask who I should work with first in the group and proceed
until I have worked with everyone in the group. Depending upon
what is wanted/needed by each individual I do different things but
I always have hot hands and lots of energy flowing through me
towards the person. Much of the time I am just running the energy
and listening to the silence. This takes about one hour and feels very
powerful most of the time. I come out of the session with the message
in quotes at the top of the prosperity posts.

In terms of the individual participation I recommend meditating as long as
you feel like it. Meditate whatever way you usually do, or make up a new
meditation. You can put your intention into the meditation at the beginning
and then release it. You can concentrate on either listening to the stillness,
listening to your guidance, or if the mind comes in talk to yourself about
aspects of the Divine that you know to be true. Get your mind off of the
wanting and onto the truth. You can accept this truth for everyone in the
group.I hope this helps.

Sorry I have not posted for a couple of days. I guess I have been
going through some sort of energy shift and have not been sleeping
very much. I asked for a breakthrough and seem to have received
it. The last post I did has a quote of Yogananda's. Actually I think
it is more than a quote. I think he left a portal with this. After
realizing what he was saying everything went quiet for me. My
mind stopped its' rambling. The veil between me and Other
feels thinner. How do I percieve this? Information is much more
available and so is healing energy. I feel peaceful. I read the quote
to my friend and he had a similar shift. This is why I think it might
be a doorway. I mean of course every teaching from a master is,
if you really let the teaching in. But I think these words have an
energy to them that enables the opening. Maybe!?

The ego is very tricky and quite seductive, it easily
convinces us that it is the voice to listen to, the
momentum to act from. Last night I crashed and
burned because I fell for it again. I was depressed
and confused and wondering whether I was doing
the 'right' thing in regards to the paintings I am
working on in preparation for a show in June.
I even questioned whether I am even an artist.
The ego had my full attention.

Thank God I have developed this awareness
muscle and I caught myself. Busted!! Back to the
now. Was I painting right then? No. Was there any
decision to make right at that moment? No. A beautiful
minister/mentor, Paula Scott would always say that
spiritual practice was like sitting down at the piano
to learn to play. It took patience and and lots of
practice.

About 12 years ago I met my friend Joe for breakfast,
and after we went to take a walk on the beach. On
the walk I had the most phenomenal spiritual
experience of my life and it only lasted a few minutes.
Everything went quiet. I could hear everything, but
my perception was one of silence, stillness, peace and
joy.

One of the gifts of this experience is my hunger for
stillness and silence. This morning I am practicing
my relationship to that yummy place and listening
to the 'small still voice' as I write this and now face
entering the studio.

Silence. Stillness. Peace. All is well.
